Your Connecti5 profile helps identify you inside the app and keeps your basic account details updated. This guide explains how to view your profile, update your name, change your profile picture, and understand which fields can or cannot be edited.
Use this page if you have just created your Connecti5 account, want to update your profile photo, or need help fixing profile update issues.
What this page helps you do
This guide helps you understand how to:
Update your profile name, change your profile picture, check your registered email and phone number, understand read-only profile fields, and fix common profile update problems.
When should you set up your profile?
You should set up your profile after creating your account or logging in for the first time.
A complete profile helps when you use features such as ConnectLink, Digital Business Card, Share Digital Profile, and Connecti5 NFC Card, because these features may use your profile details while sharing your identity with others.
What you can update in your profile
In the profile section, you can update your name and profile picture.
Your email address and phone number may appear in the profile screen, but they are read-only. That means you can view them, but you cannot directly edit them from this screen. The developer analysis confirms that email and phone are shown as read-only in the profile flow.
How to set up or update your profile
Follow these steps to update your Connecti5 profile:
- Open the Connecti5 app.
- Go to the Settings section.
- Open your Profile screen.
- Review your current profile details.
- Tap the profile picture area if you want to change your image.
- Select a photo from your gallery.
- Edit your name if needed.
- Tap the Update button to save your changes.
After saving, Connecti5 updates your profile details and refreshes the profile screen.
Before you start
Before updating your profile, make sure your internet connection is active and you are logged in to your Connecti5 account.
If you want to change your profile picture, allow photo or gallery access when the app asks for permission. If permission is denied, the app may not be able to open your gallery or upload the selected image.
Profile picture guide
Your profile picture helps people recognize you across profile-based features. Use a clear image where your face, logo, or professional identity is visible.
Connecti5 currently uses gallery selection for profile picture updates. The developer analysis notes that the camera option was removed for Google Play compliance, so users should select an image from the gallery instead of capturing a new photo from the profile screen.
Why the Update button may not work
The Update button becomes useful only when you make a change. If you open the profile screen and tap update without changing anything, you may see a message saying there are no changes to update.
To update your profile, change your name or select a new profile picture first.
What happens after updating your profile?
After a successful update, your new name or profile picture will be saved and shown inside Connecti5. These details may also appear in profile-related features such as ConnectLink, Digital Business Card, and other sharing options.
If the update takes time, wait for the process to finish. Do not close the app while the profile picture is uploading.
Common problems and fixes
Profile picture is not updating
Check whether gallery or photo access is allowed for Connecti5. If permission is denied, go to your phone settings and enable photo access for the app.
Also make sure your internet connection is working, because the image needs to be uploaded to the server.
I cannot edit my email address
Your email address is read-only in the profile screen. This means it cannot be changed directly from this section.
If your email is incorrect or needs to be changed, contact support and explain the issue with your registered account details.
I cannot edit my phone number
Your phone number is also read-only in the profile screen. If the phone number is incorrect or needs to be updated, contact support for help.
I see “No changes to update”
This means you have not changed any profile details. Edit your name or choose a new profile picture, then try updating again.
Name is not accepted
Make sure the name field is not empty. The name should be at least two characters and should not exceed the allowed character limit.
Avoid using unsupported symbols or unnecessary special characters in the name field.
Gallery permission is denied
If gallery permission is denied, Connecti5 cannot access your photos. Open your device settings, find Connecti5, and allow photo or gallery access.
Profile upload is taking too long
Profile picture upload may take longer on slow internet. Wait for the process to finish. If it fails, check your connection and try again with a clear, smaller image.
Profile data is not loading
If profile data does not load, refresh the screen or reopen the app. If the issue continues, check your internet connection and try again.
Error messages you may see
You may see messages such as:
“Name is required,” “Name must be at least 2 characters,” “Name must not exceed 100 characters,” “No changes to update,” “Profile updated successfully,” “Permission required to access camera/photos,” “Invalid image,” “Request timeout,” or “Network error.”
These messages usually appear when required profile details are missing, permissions are denied, the selected image has an issue, or the internet connection is unstable.
Important limitations
Email and phone number cannot be edited from the profile screen.
Profile picture selection is available from the gallery. Camera capture may not be available in this flow.
Company logo upload may exist in the app code, but it is currently hidden from the visible profile UI according to the developer analysis, so it should not be treated as a user-facing profile option unless it appears in the live app.
Still need help?
If you cannot update your profile, contact Connecti5 support or send feedback from the app.
When reporting the issue, share your registered email or mobile number, the field you were trying to update, the exact error message, your device name, app version, and a screenshot if possible.
