Feature Guide / Notes

Connection Notes

Connection Notes helps you save important information about your saved contacts inside Connecti5. Instead of keeping follow-up details, meeting points, reminders, or business context in your memory, you can create notes linked to a specific connection.

Use this guide when you want to add notes for a contact, review past notes, edit note details, attach an image, set priority, or fix issues when notes are not saving or showing correctly.

What this page helps you do

This guide helps you understand how Connection Notes works, how to create a note for a saved contact, how to view and search notes, how to edit or delete notes, how note priority works, and what to do if a note cannot be saved.

When should you use Connection Notes?

Use Connection Notes when you want to remember important details about a person or business connection.

This is useful when:

You want to save what you discussed with a contact.

You want to remember follow-up points after a meeting.

You want to record a client requirement, vendor update, or business opportunity.

You want to keep priority notes for important contacts.

You want to attach an image related to the conversation or follow-up.

You want to search previous notes by contact name or company.

If you want to create a date and time-based personal reminder, use Set Reminders. If you want to schedule an actual meeting invitation, use Schedule a Meeting.

How Connection Notes works

Connection Notes are linked to saved contacts. When you create a note, you can add note type, note content, date, priority, and an optional image attachment.

The developer analysis confirms that Connecti5 has create, view, and edit note screens, and notes can include type, content, attachment, date, and priority.

How to create a connection note

Follow these steps to create a note:

  1. Open the Connecti5 app.
  2. Open the contact for whom you want to create a note.
  3. Tap the note option if available.
  4. Select the note type.
  5. Enter the note content.
  6. Add an image attachment if needed.
  7. Choose the note date.
  8. Select the priority level.
  9. Tap Create Note or Save.
  10. Wait for the success message.

After saving, the note should appear in your Connection Notes list.

Before you start

Before creating a note, make sure the contact is already saved in Connecti5.

You should also make sure your internet connection is active if notes are saved through your account.

If you want to add an image attachment, allow camera or gallery permission when the app asks for it.

What details can you add in a note?

A Connection Note can include:

Note type Note content Date Priority Image attachment Linked contact details

The note content is the most important part. Use it to write clear follow-up details, discussion points, client requirements, meeting summary, or next action.

Choosing a note type

Note type helps you organize notes based on purpose.

For example, a note type can help separate meeting notes, follow-up notes, business discussion notes, customer requirements, or general updates.

If the note type list is empty, it may mean note types are not available from the server or have not loaded properly.

Writing useful note content

A good note should be short, clear, and specific.

Instead of writing:

“Talked today.”

Write:

“Discussed website redesign requirement. Follow up next week with pricing and timeline.”

Instead of writing:

“Client interested.”

Write:

“Client is interested in CRM integration. Need to send proposal by Friday.”

Specific notes are easier to understand later.

Priority levels

Connection Notes may support priority levels such as Low, Medium, and High.

Use priority to identify how important the note is.

Low can be used for general information.

Medium can be used for normal follow-ups.

High can be used for urgent or important business actions.

The developer analysis confirms that notes can use Low, Medium, and High priority levels, and note cards may show different color indicators based on priority.

Adding an image attachment

You can add an image attachment when the note needs visual context.

This is useful for:

Business card reference Meeting whiteboard photo Document snapshot Product image Event photo Receipt or visiting location reference

If image upload fails, try using a smaller image or check your internet connection.

How to view your notes

Follow these steps to view saved notes:

  1. Open the Connecti5 app.
  2. Go to Connection Notes.
  3. Review the notes list.
  4. Use the search bar to find notes by contact name or company.
  5. Use priority filters if available.
  6. Tap or expand a note to read the full content.
  7. Use edit or delete actions if needed.

The developer analysis notes that the notes list can support search, priority filtering, expandable content, image thumbnails, edit, delete, and action buttons.

How to edit a note

Follow these steps to edit a note:

  1. Open Connection Notes.
  2. Find the note you want to update.
  3. Tap the edit option.
  4. Update the note type, content, date, priority, or attachment.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Check the note list to confirm the update.

If the update fails, check your internet connection and try again.

How to delete a note

Follow these steps to delete a note:

  1. Open Connection Notes.
  2. Find the note you want to remove.
  3. Tap the delete option.
  4. Confirm deletion if the app asks.
  5. Check that the note is removed from the list.

Use delete carefully. Once a note is removed, it may not be recoverable from the app.

Common problems and fixes

Note is not saving

Check whether the note content is filled. Note content is required.

Also check your internet connection and try again.

Note type is not showing

The note type list may not have loaded.

Refresh the screen, check your internet connection, and try again.

Image attachment is not uploading

The image may be too large or upload may have failed.

Try selecting a smaller image, check your internet connection, and save the note again.

Check whether camera or gallery permission is allowed for Connecti5.

Open your phone settings, find Connecti5, and enable the required permission.

Notes list is empty

This means no notes have been created yet, or notes are not loading.

Create a new note for a saved contact, then return to the notes list.

Search is not finding a note

Check whether you are searching by contact name or company name.

If the note is not linked to the contact you are searching for, it may not appear in the result.

Priority filter hides notes

If a priority filter is active, only notes with that priority may appear.

Change the filter to All or clear the filter to view all notes.

Edited note is not updating

Check whether you saved the changes.

If the issue continues, refresh the notes list and check your internet connection.

Deleted note still appears

Refresh the notes list. If it still appears, the delete request may not have completed successfully.

Try deleting again or contact support.

Error or empty messages you may see

You may see messages such as:

“Please enter note content,” “Note saved successfully,” “Failed to save note,” “Note updated successfully,” “Failed to update note,” “Note deleted successfully,” “Please select type,” “Failed to pick image,” or “No notes found.”

These messages usually mean required content is missing, the note was saved or updated successfully, the note action failed, an image could not be selected, or no notes are available yet.

Important limitations

A note must have content before it can be saved.

Note types may come from the server and may not be manually created from the note screen.

Image attachments may be compressed before saving.

Image quality may reduce if the app compresses the file.

Notes are linked to contacts, so the contact should exist before creating a note.

Deleting a note may permanently remove it from the notes list.

The developer analysis confirms that note images are auto-compressed and that notes are linked to contacts by phone number.

Still need help?

If Connection Notes are not saving, loading, editing, or deleting correctly, contact Connecti5 support or send feedback from the app.

When reporting the issue, share your registered email or mobile number, the contact linked with the note, the action you tried, the error message you saw, whether image permission is enabled, your device name, app version, and a screenshot if possible.

Do not share private business notes publicly. Share sensitive note details only through official support if required.
